学生关注的焦点 highlights exemplary students enrolled at Delaware Technical Community College. Students featured demonstrate qualities of grit, a characteristic that captures people's ability to persevere in the face of difficulty. 据安吉拉·达克沃斯说, a renowned educator and researcher who focuses on the subject of grit, one’s personal qualities other than knowledge can and do affect an individual's success.
Any Delaware Tech faculty or staff member (full time, 兼职, or adjunct) or administrator can nominate up to three Delaware Tech students per semester for 学生关注的焦点. Students may not nominate other students for 学生关注的焦点.
To qualify, a student must have a GPA of 2.50 or higher and must be in his or her second semester or beyond. The student cannot be on academic probation or be involved in any disciplinary action.
Each nominee interested in participating has their picture taken and answers a few brief questions about their time at Delaware Tech via a Google Form. 篇幅允许的话, each student will be featured on a poster in the 学生关注的焦点 Hallway at their home campus.
